What we’ve been up to:

I went to the lake with my mom and brother earlier this week.  Even though the day wasn’t hot, the lake was warm and inviting and we swam and swam.  For dinner I made this amazingly delicious chicken and rice noodle bowl.  It really was phenomenal, I already can’t wait to have it again.


The weather has been on point since the beginning of July and I couldn’t be happier!  Sunshine, iced coffee and sleeping through most of the day (curse you nigh shift!) has been totally normal!IMG_8867

The other day we went to Maia’s for breakfast cookies and coffee.  Josh hammed it up for my camera while Shane picked raspberries.  Okay, I picked about a million of them too.  We also picked huckleberries (which are a pain in the ass!)  When we got home I made a raspberry huckleberry jam that I can’t wait to eat! IMG_8917

My Dad came over for dinner the other night for Shane’s delicious BBQ ribs.  You know we really love you when we feed you ribs!  They’re something we like to hoard for ourselves.  It’s really tough for me to share!  For dessert we had a no-bake blueberry cheesecake.  If you want a knock your socks off no-bake cheesecake you’ll need to make this recipe!


Oh! and guys! I started a website! But you already know that since you’re reading this on it! It took forever and a day!  But I did it!  Yes!  Exclamation point city!!

Lastly, I sold my first camera lens last night.  I certainly didn’t make a profit, but now I’ve got a few bucks to buy a tripod and a new camera bag.

This might be my last post before a little vacation I’m taking with my Mom up North.  I’ll be sure to overload you with pictures and stories once we get back, so I’ll talk to you in a week!
