How far along? Wooohooo! 30 Weeks! Honestly, I think I’ve been pregnant forever.
Total weight gain: I forgot to weigh myself first thing this morning, so by the time I did I was dressed and with a cup of coffee already. I think I’m the same as last week. 26 pounds total.
Baby Size: She’s 17 inches and 3 pounds this week. What a pork chop! I measured around my belly button again this week and it’s the same as last, 42.5 inches.
Gender: Our cupcake is a little girl.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep: Some bad (awake from 3:30am the other day, terrible!) and some good (like last night, an almost solid 9 hours).
Best moment this week: I loved buying her clothes and imagining myself dressing her in them (see below).
Miss Anything? Moving without effort.
Food cravings: Sweets were big this week. I’ve been trying to not eat sweets until after dinner every day and was successful for most of the week. Only fruits, veggies and protein before TV time. And then I’m all over the chocolate!
Movement: I’ve had no trouble feeling her moving this week. I can actually usually get her to move for me by rubbing my stomach. The other night I was having trouble falling asleep and actually felt her move from her position almost 90 degrees and then back again. I love it!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really.
Symptoms: I’ve been exhausted this week, but I can’t nap, my body just refuses. My eyes and nose leak like crazy, for no reason. It’s like I’m constantly crying from both orifices. My belly has felt so heavy, and there is so much weight on my bladder. Still some swelling in the ankles and legs. I really don’t mind though, all my symptoms are so mild. Oh! My belly button is starting to being an outie! The inside is still way in, but the outer edge is raised up, so when I run my hand down my belly I can feel it sticking out. It’s so weird!
Looking forward to: I booked my first midwife appointment in Abbotsford for March 11th! I’m really happy I finally have a care practitioner lined up for my time down south, it’s a relief.
Items Purchased: Oh my, after not purchasing anything last week we kinda went crazy. We bought a bunch of clothes, a cute bib, a headband and three pairs of shoes! (The shoes should fit in like a year.) I also bought a used Ergo baby carrier from someone off facebook here. It was such a score!
Workouts: I went for at least 4 long walks. One walk was so beautiful I went to do an extra bit and found myself with quite a bit of lower tummy pain about 15 minutes from home. I’ve got to remember not to push it.
Number of Weird Dreams: I’ve had a few weird ones. I find myself in a awake-sleep state a lot, so that would leave me dreaming more.
