How far along? 33 weeks. Which means when you ask how much longer (not that anyone has) I can say 6 weeks and 6 days!!
Total weight gain: I totally forgot to weigh myself this morning. It is Valentines after all, I was focused on making waffles and doing my hair, which is far more interesting then how much I weigh.
Baby Size: She’s 4.5lbs this week, they say.
Gender: Our girly.
Stretch marks? Yup. I can’t see them, they’re underneath my belly, but I felt them and asked Shane to confirm. Yuck.
Sleep: Okay. I sort of wake up many times a night, but I’ve been feeling pretty well rested.
Best moment this week: I went to a yoga class this week, which was enjoyable. But my favourite moments were just time spent cuddling with the baby and Shane.
Miss Anything? I’m missing walking right now. I would love to be somewhere I could just wander outside with all the snow. (I still love the snow, don’t get me wrong.)
Food cravings: Fruit, buffalo sauce and potatoes.
Movement: She’s enormous and when she turns she makes my whole belly tight. I love feeling her back on my tummy, or her bum pressing up. We can feel a foot and leg that we chase around with our fingers sometimes. It’s adorable, and totally makes her feel more real, more baby like.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Some nausea at any time of day. Also, I’ve been getting some heartburn in the evening, so I just bought a box of tums, which helps.
Symptoms: I had to take my engagement ring off this week. It was just too tight to get over my knuckle comfortably. I feel it’s absence all the time and I worry constantly that it’s going to go missing. My stomach and back have been achy all week. My belly is just so heavy and stretched. I’ve spent a lot of my week just lying in bed, where I’m most comfortable. My boots are super hard to get on, because my feet are a little swollen. It’s a real (uncomfortable) struggle.
Looking forward to: Going down south soon! 2 weeks and 4 days.
Items Purchased: We didn’t buy anything this week, but the baby monitor came. Remember how I mentioned that it was imperative for me that it had a temperature monitor on it? The other night I closed the door to the nursery for the night and when I opened it in the morning it was freezing in there! I think we might need a space heater for the room, because obviously we have to close the door for noise/fire safety/humidifier. Needless to say, I’m very glad I got the one I got.
Workouts: I went for one walk and to one yoga class. I’m terrible, I know. I’ve got nothing but excuses.
