I’m using my old laptop to write this, and it’s giving me so much grief. I’ve already messed around with it for two hours! I also apparently forgot my camera cable at home, so there is only iphone photos that I email to myself, because this computer doesn’t have iphoto either. YAY!
How far along? 36 weeks. It’s hard to believe she’ll be here in about a month!
Total weight gain: I’m up 3lbs from last week. I’m a hunka chunka burnin’ love. I’m huge. I’m 39lbs more then I was 8 months ago. It’s doing wonders for my self esteem.
Best moment this week: Finally being in the Valley! It was really hard for me to leave my house. I’ll blame it on hormones, but I was really upset about it. I even cried on the plane. Now that I’m here though, it’s fantastic. I walked into the baby section in Walmart and looked around and was totally overwhelmed for options. I think I need to bring my mom with me, because I don’t have a clue what I’m doing.
Miss Anything? My husband and my pillow.
Food cravings: No cravings, but I am specific about what I’m wanting to eat. Green apples and cheddar cheese, toast with peanut butter, bananas and peanut butter. Peanut butter and anything really.
Movement: On days I’m busy my stomach is so hard I can barely feel her. So in the beginning of the week I felt her lots, but since I’ve gotten here, it’s been harder to detect movement. She’s still swimming around though!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I have no idea what did it, but early yesterday morning I threw up right into my hand. There was no warning signs at all, I was fine and then I was trying to keep the vomit in my mouth while I searched for a trash can. Yikes! (I got covered anyway, ew!)
Symptoms: Just the usual contenders.
Looking forward to: My first prenatal down here, pedicures with a friend, coffee with the inlaws, dinner with my dad, going to the movies with my sister. And in a week, my BABY SHOWER!
Items Purchased: Well I’ve determined she definitely needs more newborn and 0-3 clothes. But I haven’t made it to a store yet. I did buy wipes, a thermometer, baby clothes hangers and baby wash and lotion. I also bought myself a comfy pair of PJs, for now and for after, which I am in love with.
Workouts: I did go on a few walks this week, and did my yoga video twice. I need to make sure I get outside into the glorious sunshine and warm temps. (Yesterday I was hot in a pair of jeans and a tank top! It was magic.)
